Qualitative research methods

Qualitative methods intended for researching small number of people; by delving into their opinions, emotional attitude and needs, it’s possible to find out diversity of standpoints and realize people’s models of action.

Qualitative research methods are used that to:

■  choose the most appropriate advertising idea or product concept
■  understand the way purchasing decisions are made
■  find out desires and needs related to a specific product or service
■  understand consumers’ emotional attitude, opinions and behaviour
■  position a brand and find out its strong and weak points and market potentialities
■  get more detailed information that could complement and interpret quantitative data (for instance, increase of sales amount, usage aspects of a specific product, etc.)
